METHOD

PRINCIPLE
Gamma-glutamyl is transferred from gamma-glutamyl-p-nitroanilide
to glycylglycine by gamma-GT (Gamma-Glutamyl-Transferase). The p-nitroanline
formed absorbs at 405 nm. The amount of p-nitroani is directly proportional
to gamma-GT activity.
SAMPLE:
Serum.

CALCULATION AND LINEARITY
| p A/min. x 1111
= U/l Gamma GT |
The method is linear upto 200 U/l. |
